Hi Jim, I was wondering if I could post my story about my house on your web site? Well here it is, everything that has happened so far.I have lived in my house for more that nine years and for the past five years some very strange things have been happening. It first started one night while I was sleeping. I was having a nightmare and all of the sudden my bed started to shake very violently as if there was a very powerful earthquake occurring. (I live in Phoenix, Az so, as you know, this sort of thing is not common) but as I looked around my room I realized that my bed was the only object that was moving. The shaking lasted for a good three minutes and I was so terrified I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. In the morning I asked my mom if she had felt an earthquake last night but she just looked at me like I was crazy and said that she had felt nothing. After that I have felt a strong presence in my room. Just in the past year it has really been bothering me. I have vortex pictures on this web site if you haven't already checked them out. I sleep in the living room sometimes and one night I was all alone and about to go to sleep on the couch when I heard a faint female voice calling my name. I asked it what it wanted and it didn't respond. This same thing happened again when I was in the same room crocheting silently. I heard the same voice calling my name but I thought it might be my mom so I asked her if she called me and she said no. I didn't think much of it until I started investigating it on the internet. I found many things that proved to me that I indeed had a spirit in my house. The weird thing though, is that it only seems to bother me. None of my family members have ever felt, seen, or heard anything. In the beginning of January I was not able to go to school because I had a severe infection in my foot so I stayed home the whole day. My mother and I were watching television and I was laying on the couch with my head facing the hall way. While I was watching the TV, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a  white transparent figure pass into my parents room from my room. I was quite shaken because that was the first time I had ever seen it (or them) and I had never really seen a ghost before. Well, that night I was sleeping in the living room so I could use the chair to prop up my injured foot. My mom joined be around midnight because my dad had been eating mexican food and you can probably guess the rest. Anyway, my mom & I had fallen asleep about midnight but yet kept waking up for some strange reason. At about 5:30 am we both woke up at the same time to hear really sweet singing. The song was faint and a bit warped so that we could not make out the song. The voice was very nice and the song lasted about a minute. After that, my mom and I slept until mid morning. I have talked to many people about it and my friends are both interested but scared to come over to my house for obvious reasons. The spirit hasn't made contact with me since, and I haven't felt it's presence in quite a while, so I think it has either decided to leave me alone or is just to busy bothering someone else.
