NOTE: We Believe this to be a FAKE

Below is the story sent to us here at GhostStudy
The Team (not to be mentioned) was in the middle of an investigation when this happened:

A family in north Springfield contacted the group because of some odd things that were happening.

“All the lights were turned off and the doors were locked,” says
unnamed. ” I came around to lock up the front door and as soon as I turned the corner, I heard a growling disturbance on my EVP. And then something darker then the darkness appeared to be moving in the hallway. So I immediately started taking pictures with the hope of capturing something on film.”

There was no one from our team in the hallway except for myself but yet, it seems that the entity haunting the home decided to make an appearance. “When I first viewed the picture, I saw a reaper,” says
unnamed. “Typical of what you might think". ”But after studying the photo, it appears to be more like a dark ghost holding a baby.”

Jim's Note: This photo is NOT to be associated with "Ozark Mountain Paranormal Investigations " or OzMo PI in the Missouri Ozarks. This group is Top Notch and honest in their dealings. They have had to do damage control because of their name being associated with this photo.

  GhostStudy Comments:
Most Likely a Fake...

We visited the website that the submitter listed
for this photo and found nothing about it there. And the investigator claiming to take the photo was not listed on the team. And beyond that, when we found the picture on other websites, the story was different. And if that wasn't enough, we found a iPhone app that will easily create a similar ghost image. Compare the below photo for these similarities. Pay particular attention to the elbows and general shape of the ghost created from the App. It wouldn't take much to change the general shape, then blur things out a bit and add some noise.

So because of the inconsistencies stated above, we are apt to believe the photo is fraudulent. However, I did write "OzMo PI" for their side of the story (great site by the way). This is in part what they replied... We are not the group in question and this is not our photo. We don't want to jeopardize our reputation by association, so we would appreciate if you would make that clear.
Jim's reply... consider it done.

Your thoughts would be most welcome!
