. Submitted by Stephanie: Shodges1131@aol.com My best friend
Jane's (not her real name) father passed away in 1982 and the company that he
worked for gave the family a clock to show their sympathy. It kind of looks like
a mini grandfather clock. Her mother could never figure out how to set the clock
so it sat on top of the china closet showing the wrong time. OK now here is
where it gets weird, the clock never chimed, but when it is someone's birthday
or a holiday the clock chimed. And this clock is 18 years old and it is a wind
up type and it was wound up once in 1982 when they got it, and the hands still
move. I used to go to her house all the time when we were younger, and was there
many times when the clock would chime at a special occasion! Everyone would
look at each other and say
"Bob's here." Its not a scary story but an interesting one. Thanks Stephanie for sharing your
story with us. :)
