Frustrated ghost scares me to death!

First off I have never done anything like this but I am hoping that by telling people he is here maybe he will go away. I moved into my house in April of 2000. Not long after I moved in maybe a month, I saw a man walk out of my daughter's room and into mine. A few days later I could feel him in the house and as I fed my daughter she kept looking up from her walker and smiling as if someone were standing there. I have not felt nor seen this "man" in months. He is about 5'7 has brown hair cut short, wears dark slacks (navy blue or black) a white shirt, tennis shoes and a brown (looks like velveteen or suede) jacket. This is July of 2000. Tonight the man came back. I could feel him although tonight I only saw him once. He stood in my bedroom doorway and glared at me. I could see what he was thinking (unfortunately). There wasn't any random thought here he just kept seeing the same pictures over and over. I could feel such a malevolent force coming from my room that I was terrified to get up. I heard him move things in my room, tap the wall or floor, breathe, and heard him on my bed. Normally I would have ignored it believing it was one of my dogs or my cat. The only thing is both dogs were asleep in the living room with me and the cat is in the garage. The pictures I kept getting from this man were those of a very small child's back. There  were large bruises there. I saw him looking out from where he was hiding in my room. He was waiting for his wife to get home so he could kill her for hitting the baby. I also saw a spot on the ground that was covered with fresh earth and he sat on it and watched the water. I get the feeling that this man thinks that I am his wife and that my daughter is his and he wants to do me harm. He only comes when it is just my daughter and I that are home. The pure and utter hate that I feel from this man is unbelievable. When I got up the courage I went into the hallway and turned on the light there, then to my room and turned on the light. I could still feel him but got no feeling from him. I looked to see what he had been moving in my room and found that all of my daughters clothes were at the other end of the bed from where I left them. I left them on the foot of the bed and when I entered the room they were all on my pillow. I still feel him and I know he still thinks I am his wife and when I turn off that light I am in deep trouble. I see his wife in his "thoughts". My mother described his wife to me in detail before I told her what she looks like. My mother has said that she has seen her in my kitchen several times and that she always looks very sad. I am not sure why he is here or why he thinks that I am his wife. I do know that he scares me to death. I am worried for my safety as well as that of my ten month old daughter. I hope in telling someone of this man and what he is doing that he will go and leave us in peace. For tonight I sleep in the living room as I am too frightened to sleep in my own bed. Thank you for reading this and posting it so that maybe if more people know about him he will go away.
