Ghost speaks to me at memorial!

Submitted by Claire:  claire435@hotmail.com

I recently took a trip to Washington D.C. with some friends on a choice school trip. We visited the Iwagima (I know its spelled wrong. Its the memorial that represents the Americans posting the flag on a Japanese mountain) memorial. When I was there, I felt this eerie presence. All of a sudden I felt myself falling to my knees. Words poured into my head, coming from a dead veteran who said he missed his family and his little girl was all grown up with children of her own and what he went through before he died. I shook my head, and in the 10 seconds I was overwhelmed with words on my knees, I was scared. I felt that I was being stalked or shot at. I rose from my knees. A teacher asked me if I was ok. I blamed it on a shortness of breath and said I had a faint asthma. But that wasn't the end. I looked up at the memorial and saw a sad face in the clouds for one instant. I felt a wave of cold, and Goosebumps overtook my body. Then as quickly the presence came upon me it left. I was warm and the only voices in my head were my own. I know it sounds crazy, but was a dead veteran speaking to me through my mind? I took a picture of the memorial and a face showed up in it. Unfortunately, I do not a have a scanner. Wrapping it up, my experience with the supernatural will be an unforgettable one.
