"Strange Happenings"  All of my life I have been interested in the paranormal, I read anything I can find on the subject. I think a few experiences have left me thirsting for more knowledge. To begin my grandmother had always experienced visitations from family member's that have passed on. When I was about 15 my uncle suddenly passed away of a massive heart attack. A couple of day's later my sister and I were in my parents room watching a TV program, the phone rang and my little sister jumped up to answer it. As I watched her wondering who was on the other end, she turned a deathly shade of white, I asked her what was wrong. What she said nearly had me in a panic, she said uncle Jim is on the phone and he wanted to say good bye to us, I said excuse me and she repeated what she said. I rushed over to pick up the dangling phone and put it to my ear, what I heard was a lot of static and faint whispering in the back ground. Even then I was interested in ghosts, so I knew a little about spirit communication and from what I gathered this was what had been described in so many books. My sister was totally freaked out and could not answer the phone for almost two months. I also believe this is the real deal because my grandmother had also had a visit and told me that my uncle had called to say good bye. I have a little sensitivity to the other side mostly just feeling's and gooseflesh when I feel I am not alone. On a more recent note, I was sitting at my computer at about 2:30 in the morning just roaming the sites when my dog a giant rottweiler named Chevy started growling, her hackles were up and she was kind of backing away from the corner of the bedroom. It was quite dark, as I only had the desk light on, I told her to stop and settle down thinking she just heard a noise from outside. She stopped, but five minutes later was standing staring at the corner repeating what she had done before. I looked and could see nothing but I felt like I was being watched, my roommate was sound asleep as he had to work early so it definitely was not him. What I felt was scary, I felt like I should not be there and was not wanted in the room at all. So I shut down my computer and hightailed it to the living room turned on the lamp and went to sleep totally scared out of my wits. Even now when I am working on the computer late in the evening I get gooseflesh, I ignore it and keep on working. since I moved in here 4 months ago I have nightmares almost every other night and have strange feelings not all the time but once in a while. It is an old house an elderly couple lived here and the husband died before the lady moved so maybe it's him searching for his wife, and finds stranger's instead. I would be pretty ticked too, if someone else was living in my house and I didn't know how it happened. That is my ghost story, I have some other tales but I will save them for another day.
