She appears in the window!
Lisa writes, "I happen to
stumble upon your site last night and thought I should send in my photos.
Anyway, back in May of 2003 my husband and I were talking about refinancing our
house. So he told me to pull out any important paperwork on the house. We
actually had just bought it about year earlier so I had everything together.
While going through the papers and pulling what I thought we would need, I came
across one with 3 photo shots of our house that the appraiser took (sometime
between June 2002-Aug. 2002) One pic was the front view of the house, another
from the street and then the back view. I've looked at this appraisal probably
100 times before (just a proud first time home owner I guess...LOL) But when
looking at the back view of the house, I noticed an image in the bedroom window.
I thought, eh, it's a reflection. So I looked closer, under better lighting and
said no way was that a reflection. It appears to be a woman in a gown. I was
freaked out big-time, so I scanned the pic and posted it on a forum I frequent
and asked for opinions. I got many! But the freakiest reply was from a girl who
said the woman wasn't freaky, it was the "devilish" face image above the woman's
head that freaked her out. I took my pic and zoomed in on it and I saw the image
she was referring to. Some short history on the house.....a couple with 2 boys
lived here, bought the house in 1976 and sold it to a couple (who buy homes to
remodel and turn around and sell them) in Jan. of 2002. The couple then
totally remodeled the house, 6 months later put it on the market, that's when my
husband and I found it. So there hasn't been but one family before us living
here. I even researched into this more through our mortgage broker, no deaths
happened here, and I even asked him to contact the appraiser. He just blew me
off and said it's probably a cleaning person. I said yeah, ok, whatever, I
always clean in my gown too. So I just gave up. We've never had any abnormal
things happen, no ghost sightings, nothing. I feel totally safe in this house,
so my guess is that woman is Casper's mom. LOL In the first pic you can clearly
see the woman in the gown looking out the window. In the second picture, which
is zoomed in many many times, you can see the "devilish" face image above her
head."
