Discovery in the Tomb!
Vanessa writes, "My boyfriend Jeff and I went to New Orleans in July 2003. We were told about this one cemetery, and decided to go to it. (I don't want to give the name of the cemetery because I don't want it to become a tourist trap.) I love taking pictures in cemeteries. One thing I want to say about this picture is that it was raining. I noticed the Ectoplasm above us.  I haven't looked at it in complete detail, so I don't know if there are any faces or images in it. It was not that foggy out that day. The second picture I am sending you was also from the same cemetery. I want to make it clear that this is how we found the open tombs, we do not destroy or touch anything in cemeteries. We have respect and leave things the way they are. We just happened to be lucky to find this open tomb showing all of the remains of the person that was buried there."

 Jim's Comments:

And what a discovery it was... I'm glad to know that Vanessa and Jeff have respect for the dead and for a final resting spot there of. If there's anything we teach here at Ghoststudy, it's respect for the dead. We may call ourselves ghost hunters but thinking of it as a hunt is inappropriate. Should be more appropriately termed "search & discovery within the realm of ghost and supernatural research"
