Apparition watching the game!
Don writes, "This is not a joke. This
picture was taken at the Perth
Amboy/Carteret Thanksgiving game. The intent
was to take a picture of the score' but
after examining the picture, something
unique appeared. Mind you; this is not a
doctored pictured. Look in the circle, there
is a young man sitting on his headstone
watching the game. My sister went to the
cemetery and found the grave, the boy
sitting on his grave died at ten years old
with his 2 year old brother. it looks like
he is holding his brother in his lap, with
his head to the left and his legs protruding
to our right. FYI; my sister is trying to
find the family as we speak, and to give
then the picture."

This photo as gotten a lot of attention on the
message board. So, we thought we would include
it here so that everyone can see this most
amazing photo. Viewer comments:
I grew up in Perth Amboy, New Jersey where this
image was taken. I even sat in the same Perth
Amboy High School (Waters Stadium) bleachers a
number of times. It dawned on me after looking
at the picture, that the boy was wearing a tie
or a "uniform". Not surprising since there are
several parochial schools in the vicinity. Perth
Amboy Catholic Middle is only a mile away.
Whiles St. Stephen is on only 2 miles away and
Perth Amboy Catholic School only 3 miles away.
The boy was probably a student at one of these
schools. I wonder if he (and his family) were on
their way to school or back from school when the
accident happened? If not, the school must have
been a significant influence in his life that he
would choose to continue wearing the uniform. It
would be interesting to match the image to class
pictures from those schools. I wouldn't be
surprised if you found a match. It. At any rate,
very remarkable picture and a very remarkable
site. Keep up the good work! |
