The Ghost of Newfield Hall!
Jon writes, "Hello
to all you at Ghoststudy.com! This
photo was take by a friend of mine while we were live-in staff at Newfield
Hall, North Yorkahire, UK. There are creases and kinks that show on the
scanned photo because it’s been handled a lot, sorry about that. But the
photo is genuine and the original from the negative. Everyone at the Hall
knows about the story of a resident ghost, supposedly a woman from the 19th
century. Guests at the Hall and staff have reported sighting a ghost and a
presence sitting on their beds during the night. I have heard it moving around
the house day & night. Anyway, this photo was taken about 4 pm in the
afternoon, 1999, in the main hall. It shows what we thing is a figure drifting
across the main hall. There are no electric lights on to cause a reflection on
the camera and no nearby widows to cause a reflection either. I hope you can
use this photo. It’s taken till now for me to get a scanner to be able to
send it to you. Your website is the only one I’ve contacted concerning
it."
Bright energy at Newfield Hall
