Joanne writes, "This grave is located in Middleham Cemetery in Manchester. A gentleman who had lost his wife went into a Spiritualist Church and asked to see a medium. A private sitting was arranged and all the medium could get for him was "go and photograph the grave". He did so and this is the result. The medium was not aware, of course, that his wife and baby had died. The sitter did not in fact know (at the time) that his wife was pregnant."

This is an amazing story and capture.  This apparition does not appear to be a natural part of the flower arrangement.

Samantha writes, "This is a pic that was taken by husband's grandmother. It shows a pic of a church choir practice that was taken in 1965 It looks as though some of them have halo's or some type of energy above their heads!"

We're not sure if this is some type of supernatural energy or simply film friction. Normally if it's caused from static electricity on a cold day, it would happen outdoors and the static charge would usually show up with a blue tint. But it some circumstances a static charge can be caught on film indoors. Either way, this photo is certainly interesting!

  Ghost goes through chair!

Mary writes, "This is quite a ghost photo. I found it at an Galveston estate- This family is downright CREEPY!! Just look at their eyes- they all seem to have these white glowing eyes- very creepy ladies! There is an image on the right that looks like a ghost! I am totally creeped out by this photo- for some reason it reminds me of the movie - "THE OTHERS" It was in a box of vintage clothing I purchased at that sale- wrapped in black tissue and plastic! Overall CREEPY!"
 
   
  Jim's comments:
It was suggested to us that the ghost image could be light exposure, but that's simply not the case. The image of a ghost is actually going through the chair! Light exposure, glare, flare etc., would show up in front of the chair, not going though it. We suggest that is is a extremely rare and authentic ghost photo. We have a full-sized view of this photo in the Crypt for research and study purposes.

  Streetlight shows Jesus & Mary!

Thomas writes, "Here is a photograph of the "Jesus tree" in East Chicago, IN. Apparently, a streetlight above the tree shines through the leaves and makes the image. If you look at the other tree in the picture, u can see the Virgin Mary....
I think it's pretty cool even if you're not a church going person. It was about a 1/2 block from my Grandma's and I saw it on 7/9 (her 89th birthday), pretty interesting.
The tree is still there, but the city has turned off the streetlight because there were too many people going to see it and actually getting into scuffles."

Okay, we know the images of Jesus and Mary only show up when the street light is on, right? But the fact is, they do show up and in a most realistic fashion. Who's to say it's not a sign. Maybe the community needed something like this for some unknowing reason. I think it's a gift and should be appreciated for bringing the community together. Unfortunately however,  it began to draw quite a crowd of people each night and the street light was eventually disabled by city officials. But I believe it may have already accomplished it's mission.

  Virgin Mary Sighting!

Johnny writes, "At the November 26, 1978, Sunday holy tour, Tom Bachor of Littleneck, N.Y., captured the image of Our Lady on POLAROID film While he was photographing John Miles (Foreground) on the Vigil Grounds. Our Lady dominates the whole skyline. A hand appears on the left pointing to the Blessed Virgin, as if to say: "Behold your Mother!"

We thought at first that this could be a reflection of a statue, but we couldn't see a pedestal of any kind.  This image certainly does seem to have materialized out of thin air.

  Ghost Research Night!

Joe writes, "My Wife and I, along with my niece, and her husband, went to a South jersey ghost research night. At the old stone house in Washington twp. in New Jersey. We were waiting to go into a small church that they were researching, and as we were in line, my wife noticed a couple of red sparks that were in front of us. They looked like electric charges in mid air, so I took a picture and this is what showed up. I've had it for a couple of years. I have the original copy, along with many shots of orbs in my own house which is haunted. Thanks, Joe Drury Part time ghost Hunter.

Let's see, Joe goes to a haunted church for a ghost investigation and this shows up in the window after electrical charges appear in the air. Gee, I wonder if this is a ghost.  :)  Very nice photo!
