Kristin writes, "Though I am not as much in touch with ghosts i have had to what i believe to be one encounter in my life. when i was about eight years old my mom would always come wake me up in the morning for school by climbing into bed with me and laying with me for awhile before waking me up. on this particular morning it was still dark when i woke up. i have had a terrible fear for the dark my entire life and when i was younger i usually slept with the covers over my head. when i woke up that morning the covers weren't over my head. i raised up and standing beside my bed was a dark figure that looked like the outline of my mom. i said in a loud whisper "mom?" but "she"
never said anything back. when i said it once more i reached my hand out to touch her and there was nothing there, just air.the figure was the exact outline of my mom like it was her shadow or something standing next to my bed watching me sleep. i threw the covers over my head and was wide awake until mom came to lay with me. i asked her if she'd been in my room earlier that morning and she told me no she hadn't and then i told her about what i'd seen next to my bed. she jokingly said it could've been an out of body experience. what do you think about this?"
