Karin writes, "I saw
shadow people the winter we spent in Roswell NM, I
saw many things in that house, non of them space
aliens. No one mentioned space aliens back then. The
shadow people I saw stayed on the wall, they moved
around and spoke, not audibly with each other. They
would look at each other and gestulate, and
sometimes point at me and nod. The most terrifying
thing was my parents absolutely refused to take me
seriously and would not come and look. they said I
was seeing my own shadow, which was crap as I was
lying in bed. they would follow me from room to room
and didn't only move when I did. One night my
mother, seeing how terrified I was reluctantly
agreed to let me sleep with them, but only on the
grounds I remain absolutely quiet. Three of the
shadows were on the wall right next to the bed
watching me, I'm sure if she had looked she could
have seen them, but I was so afraid to be sent back
to my room I kept quiet. This was in 1960, I was six
years old, in first grade. There is a movie out
there. Hill top drive legacy or something similar,
usually comes on at Halloween. Patty Duke is in it,
and the man that played Quentin Collins. The shadows
their children see are similar to the ones I saw.
I'm not sure if I can draw them, I can try. I also
saw night imps, but that's another story. With the
shadows I could move and talk and with the night
imps I could not. My parents believed the paranormal
went against the church and that's why they refused
to discuss it. I read a story on another website
about a man that had trouble similar in a house they
lived in as a child. His mother wrote to the
Reverend Billy Graham who sent a prayer to say in
the room at night. So he took it seriously at
least."
