Haunted Lantern - rocking & sighing!

Description of Item:
Many years ago (about 12 years now), I was a CNA in a nursing home. One of my patients was an elderly gentleman whose body had been betrayed by Parkinson's Disease. Shortly before my patient passed away, he told me that he was leaving the contents of his home to me to do with as I pleased. He also advised me to "be rid of" the contents of his basement. Included in that basement was this lantern - and other items I currently have up for auction. Most are antiques, but some are newer. Unheeding, I reveled in the fabulous things I found in his basement. Some of these things, like this lantern, terrify me now and I wish I had listened. For over 10 years, I've had these basement items stored in a rented building. For financial reasons, I emptied the building this Spring and brought these things home. This lantern has since been suspended from a hook in the ceiling of my bedroom. But no more. Beginning almost as soon as I brought it home, strange sounds could be heard in the night. Horrible, dragging footsteps. Heavy breathing. Then, a week or so ago, the lantern began to swing from its hook in the night. Sighing can be heard coming from the general area as it swings (I say "general area" because, while it swings, I refuse to go near it. Just taking these photos gave me the creeps.) An old cane began to vibrate against the wall near the window where it hung from the curtain rod. At first, I attributed these movements to the wind blowing against the window. Then, other items from that basement began to behave suspiciously. China would rattle in the cabinet. Glasses move themselves around in my cupboards. I just can't take this anymore. While I don't feel any negative energy associated with this lantern, I'm not an expert and would prefer to be rid of it...just in case. On the other hand, should there in fact BE negative energy behind this item, by bidding, you agree to be solely responsible for whatever may or may not happen.
