HAUNTED Statue of Weeping Soldier!
.
Description of Item:
This weeping soldier sculpture is ENCHANTED. He has blessed my life. I believe it's the only one of its kind. After extensive research, I haven't seen another one that's even similar. This is the remarkable story of how I acquired "Tom Freeley" and the amazing things that have happened to me since. I used to clean vacant apartments in Brooklyn, NY and photograph them for real estate agents. In September 2001, I was cleaning a beautiful old brownstone that had hardwood floors, an old chandelier, and an antique brick fireplace that extended all the way up to the ten-foot ceiling. (I still have the apartment pictures, seen below.) As I stood in the apartment, I don't know why my attention was drawn upward, but for some reason I noticed that toward the top of the fireplace, one of the bricks was missing. It was too high for me to see inside the hole, but I was compelled to find a way up there. I had a peculiar feeling that some secret hid inside. I don't know how to explain my strange curiosity. I just felt drawn to that small dark hole. I called the landlord and told him I needed a ladder to dust off the chandelier. I had other apartments to clean that day - lots of work ahead of me, but some influence kept me in that one apartment, waiting for the ladder. After the ladder arrived my excitement intensified. I was shaking as I climbed to the top of the brick wall. I was sure some amazing treasure waited inside that gap. I almost cried out loud when I saw that there actually WAS something in there. It looked like a dusty brown lump of rock, but I intuitively sensed it was valuable.
I'll tell you right now, I've always considered myself an "open-minded skeptic." I'm willing to listen to fantastical stories, but I usually seek "logical" explanations. The reason I have faith in the supernatural power of this beautiful little statue is because of the inexplicable feeling I have when I hold him. It's like he emanates powerful goodness. And (this sounds crazy, I know!) he has visited me in visions and has brought me good fortune. When I took him home and dusted him off, I could see that he was a soldier wearing a helmet and pea coat. He sits with weary posture and holds his coat tightly around him, one hand over his heart, fending off the harsh elements. His head is bowed and he seems to be weeping… perhaps for the family he left behind, for the loss of his companions, for the loss of any human life. A tiny man with a colossal sense of empathy. I put him on the nightstand next to my bed, and the very first night a spirit visited me while I slept. (This had never happened to me before!) I don't know if he told me his name or if I just knew it, but after that first night he became known to me as "Tom Freeley." Scary things were happening where I lived in New York at that time, but he said I didn't need to fear or cry, because he held the whole world in his heart. I woke up with tears of gratitude and a feeling of lightness and grace. Tom Freeley visited me many times while I slept. He comforted me during difficult times. He prepared me for my grandfather's death. Once I was able to avoid a serious accident based on his forewarning. I told friends about my "angel." They were stunned that I would believe in anything so "kooky," HOWEVER whenever they held the statue, they all agreed that they felt emanations of energy and warmth. It's perplexing. People just feel GOOD when they hold him. My friend J. claims that holding Tom Freeley healed his colitis. I don't know how old he is. I don't know what material he's made from. He doesn't seem to be metal, glass or wood… perhaps clay or soft stone? He is sturdy and feels about as heavy as a can of soup. I don't think he is painted. He is a dark bronze color with burgundy and grayish tones. I don't know the origin of this sculpture. I don't know who he is destined to aid next. But last September, two years after I discovered him, my angel visited me for the last time. In this vision he told me that he needed to be passed on. I asked him how? How will I know who to give you to? How will I know who needs you most? He said I would recognize the appropriate course of action. I met with a woman in Oregon named K Butterfly who calls herself a "psychic and Indigo child." She is gifted. She said the ghost of a soldier possesses this statue. She believes it is not only a harmless spirit but a bringer of light. HOWEVER, she also warned me that the power contained within the statue could be wielded for dark purposes if controlled with malicious intent. But it's our belief that only well-intentioned seekers of goodness will gravitate towards Tom Freeley. I have been unemployed since August of 2003 and am in need of financial assistance. As I held Tom Freeley last night, I suddenly felt certain of what I must do. He will help me one last time by means of this auction, and I believe the rightful hands will attain him. Blessings and peace.
